The Juan Fernandez fur seal has a black fur. These seals have a pretty pointed snout and long flippers. These seals mainly eat fish and inkfish.
From the 16th century on the Juan Fernandez fur seals seemd to have extinct, but in 1965 this seal has been seen again. From that point on the population is growing pretty fast (approximately 20% each year). It is hard to count these seals, as they hide in caves.
