The Guadalupe fur seal has a black coat. Due to their floculent fur these seals are called fur seals. The snout and flippers are quite long. This seals' diet consist of squids and lantern fish.
The natural predators of the Guadalupe fur seal are killer whales and sharks.
In 1928 the Guadalupe fur seal assumed to became extinct, but in 1954 this species was rediscovered. The Guadalupe fur seal is an endangered species.
