The Antarctic fur seal has a grey-brown back. The full-grown seals have a yellow-coloured chest and throat. The pups have a cream-coloured chest and throat. These seals mainly eat krill and inkfish.
The Antarctic fur seal was threatened with extinction in the 18. century. This species recovered quite well.
