Academic education: academic year abroad. Subjects of study: Journalism and multimedia. Universität Karlsruhe - Faculty of Social Sciences. During this year I have been working as scientific assistant in the ELBA project. Elba stands for E-Learning, Barriers and chances for visually impaired persons. ELBA is part of the Nukath project, which stands for Notebook at University at the University Karlsruhe (TH). Notebook at University is a national German project for increasing notebook use in academic education. The ELBA project is responsible for research of the accessibility and usability of notebooks in academic education for visually impared persons and for research of increasment of integration of visually impaired persons by use of adaptive computer aids.

Hobbies and interests

Seals I am fascinated of true seals, eared-seals and walruses. I dedicated my website to these animals.
Singing From 1994 until today I have been singing in a gospel choir, a church choir and a close-harmony group. I participated in two large projects (one opera and one oratorium) as member of the choir.
Playing music From 1985 until 1997 violin lessons. Furthermore I play the recorder and guitar.

I like reading books, reading and writing poems and listening to radio plays.
Other interests Nature, traveling, computers, puzzling, ramble, camping, languages, cultures.
